I'm trolling for some feedback on these. These are intended for submission purposes at WOTC, so whatever you have to offer would be very much appreciated. Jon Schindehette had a wonderfully insightful entry in his Art Order blog the other day regarding 'eye catching' submissions, along with info on what makes for great support material, in the way of web ports or blog entries. So that's what I'm going to be working on for the next little while. As always, thank you for looking (and commenting, as it were). Eric www.ericlofgren.net

Hey Eric,

I think these are looking pretty good. Some really nice color choices, and solid rendering.

There's a couple things I think you could focus on moving forward. Try to vary up your surface textures a bit. Right now everything reads a bit like its made up of all the same materials.

Also, bust out some reference for hose hands and faces! They are very good right now, but I think with a little reference, they could be awesome! I'm not talking about bringing in live models or anything, just something as simple as having a mirror near your work area, or trolling through istockphoto.com.

Keep up the good work, man. I am really digging that dragonborn!

Hey Tyler,

Thanks for the feedback! The texture thing is something I'm always working on achieving and looking more closely at these, I agree that they're a little flat. And of course, anatomy is always paramount.

I'm absolutely loving your work lately. That Paizo cover you posted recently blew my doors off. Awesome, inspirational stuff!

Anyway, thanks again for your input. It's always very much appreciated :)
